Your body normally cools itself by sweating. During hot weather, especially with high humidity, sweating just isn't enough. Your body temperature can rise to dangerous levels and you can develop a heat illness. Most heat illnesses occur from staying out in the heat too long. Exercising too much for your age and physical condition are also factors. Older adults, young children and those who are sick or overweight are most at risk. Wildfires in Russia Destroy Villages Bases and Possibly Weapons Depots

In the midst of a record heat wave, which has caused the deaths of approximately 700 people per day, and droughts causing a food crisis, Russia is battling a series of wildfires which have decimated entire villages and communities. Though initial reports have denied that any military bases were in danger, the latest news is that at least one large base was destroyed, along with several aircraft and equipment at the base.
The fires have also threatened a number of nuclear facilities and research centers which are closed to foreigners and can only be accessed by special permits.

Learn your area of operations

Learn your area of operations. I was out the other day strolling about and I realized how well I know my neighborhood and the town that I live in. I know the streams, ponds, rivers, lakes, creeks and seasonal water. I know the woods and fields. I bet you could blindfold me set me down anywhere within a five mile radius and I could point to it on a map. You should be able to do the same too.
You have to learn you neighborhood well. You should know what wild foods are edible and where and when they grow. There is only one way to do it. Walking is best because you see
